Pegasus’ most notable stories tell of his strange birth from the neck stump of the Gorgon Medusa, his assistance in defeating the Chimera, and many other adventures with the hero Bellerophon, his time spent in the service of Zeus, and his eventual catasterism, but his time spent on horse related activities, such as rolling in streams, asserting dominance over lesser horses, scaring birds, and his life long quest for the perfect apple have sadly been relegated to the dustbin of history.
